I 43 Springboks scelti per i test match estivi

In vista dei test match estivi Jacques Nienaber ha scelto i 43 Springboks che inizieranno la preparazione alle sfide di luglio, che faranno da preludio al prossimo Rugby Championship. A sorpresa non c'è Duane Vermeulen, uno dei principali protagonisti in URC con Ulster.

Dentro invece Warrick Gelant, l'uomo partita nella semifinale di URC proprio con Ulster. Dentro i nuovi innesti con Evan Roos ed Elrigh Louw, entrambi inclusi mentre Marcell Coetzee, che può operare nell'ultima fila, si è guadagnato un richiamo. Non c'è posto per Frans Steyn a causa di un infortunio, sostituito da Andre Esterhuizen, di nuovo in rosa dopo un bel paio d'anni agli Harlequins.

Il Sudafrica sarà impegnato in tre test match con il Galles:
