Crusaders - Lions: preview e formazioni della finale di Super Rugby

Si affrontano domani mattina all’AMI Stadium di Cristchurch (ore 9.25 diretta TV Sky Sport) le due migliori squadre della stagione di Super Rugby. L’atto conclusivo 2018 potrebbe non essere la solita finale “tirata” e giocata punto su punto a discapito dello spettacolo, quello di domani, statistiche alla mano, è il match che vede di fronte le squadre che più hanno segnato nella stagione regolare: 86 mete per i Crusaders, 87 quelle marcate dai Lions sudafricani.

Inutile scrivere che i neozelandesi di Robertson sono i favoriti, hanno un gioco lineare ed efficace e giocano in casa. Il CT dei Lions Swys de Bruin dovrà arginare la performante mischia dei “Raders” e sperare in qualche magia di Kwagga Smith e Andries Coetzee (come abbiamo visto in semifinale ndr) per portare a casa il titolo.

I Crusaders hanno una striscia di 20 vittorie consecutive, contro i Lions hanno vinto nove delle ultime 10 partite. La franchigia neozelandese è quella che ha vinto il maggior numero di Super Rugby, ben otto, mentre i Lions, dopo aver perso le finali del 2016 e del 2017, sono ancora a secco di successi.

In semifinale i Crusaders hanno avuto la meglio sui connazionali Hurricanes, mentre i sudafricani si sono imposti sugli australiani Warathas.

La finale di Super Rugby tra Crusaders e Lions sarà trasmessa sabato mattina alle ore 9.25 in diretta Tv su Sky Sport Arena.
