Simone Favaro è il miglior giocatore dei Glasgow Warriors

Il flanker azzurro Simone Favaro (1,81 m x 99 kg) è stato premiato dal suo club come Miglior giocatore della stagione 2015/16. Il 27enne trevigiano è stato eletto dai tifosi alla sua prima stagione a Glasgow, mentre il seconda linea figiano Leone Nakarawa è stato nominato dai giocatori dei Glasgow Warriors. In corsa per il premio c’erano Jonny Gray, Rob Harley, Stuart Hogg, Leone Nakarawa, Sila Puafisi e Ryan Wilson. I Glasgow Warriors campioni in carica affronteranno sabato la semifinale di Pro12 contro gli irlandesi del Connacht.
