Andy Goode è tra i 5 giocatori dell’anno in Premiership
La RPA, la Rugby Players Association, ovvero l’associazione giocatori inglese, il corrispettivo della nostra G.I.R.A., ha annunciato i candidati che concorreranno per il premio di RPA Players’ Awards 2016, il premio di miglior giocatore della stagione sarà assegnato in collaborazione con England Rugby.
Tra i migliori ci sono 3 Wasps: Nathan Hughes, George Smith e Charles Piutau, il numero 8 degli Exeter Chiefs Thomas Waldrom e udite udite…. Il grande Andy Goode! L’apertura “extra large” che avrebbe dovuto smettere a metà stagione dopo aver lasciato Worcester ha invece reindossato gli scarpini e contribuito alla salvezza dei Newcastle Falcons (57 punti in 4 partite). L’ex numero 10 dell’Inghilterra è tra i migliori nonostante i 36 anni suonati e solo 344 minuti giocati in Premiership in questa stagione.
